- Companies selling ozone generators must meet specific requirements starting July 1, 2024.
- The ozone market will be regulated from that date.
What requirements must companies meet to sell ozone in Europe?
- The company must own an active substance dossier or purchase an access letter from the established consortiums.
- The company must register its products in the countries where it sells ozone and pay the necessary fees before July 1.
- The company must comply with specific efficacy and safety requirements for each usage type: TP2, TP4, TP5, TP11.
What happens to ozone generators that have not been registered before July 1, 2024?
- They cannot be sold in Europe.
- If already installed, health authorities may require their removal.
